Setting Up Integrations

Connecting an Integration

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Find the integration you want
  3. Click Connect
  4. Authorize access
  5. Configure sync settings

Authorization

Most integrations use OAuth:

  1. Click Connect
  2. Log in to the service
  3. Grant Coherence access
  4. Return to Coherence

Coherence only requests the minimum permissions needed for each integration.

Integration Settings

Sync Direction

Choose how data flows:

  • One-way (import) - Data flows into Coherence
  • One-way (export) - Data flows out of Coherence
  • Two-way - Changes sync in both directions

Sync Frequency

Set how often data syncs:

  • Real-time - Immediate sync (some integrations)
  • Every 5 minutes - Near real-time
  • Hourly - Regular updates
  • Daily - Once per day

Field Mapping

Map fields between systems:

  1. Select a Coherence field
  2. Choose the external field
  3. Set sync direction
  4. Configure transformations if needed

Managing Integrations

Viewing Status

Check integration health:

  • Connected - Working normally
  • Syncing - Currently syncing data
  • Error - Issue requires attention
  • Disconnected - Re-authorization needed

Sync Logs

Review sync activity:

  1. Click on an integration
  2. View Sync History
  3. See records synced, errors, and timing

Disconnecting

To disconnect an integration:

  1. Go to integration settings
  2. Click Disconnect
  3. Confirm disconnection

Data already synced remains in Coherence.

Webhooks

Incoming Webhooks

Receive data from external systems:

  1. Go to Settings > Webhooks
  2. Create an incoming webhook
  3. Copy the URL
  4. Configure the external system to send data

Outgoing Webhooks

Send data when events occur:

  1. Create an outgoing webhook
  2. Set the trigger (record created, updated, etc.)
  3. Configure the destination URL
  4. Map the data payload

Connecting to Zapier

Extend Coherence with 5000+ apps:

  1. Install the Coherence Zapier app
  2. Authorize with your API key
  3. Build Zaps with Coherence triggers and actions
  • New Coherence record → Slack message
  • New form submission → Create Coherence contact
  • New email → Create Coherence task
  • Coherence deal won → Update spreadsheet
